The Magic of Follies
Each year the excitement builds as a large group of talented students from high schools throughout the greater Bridgeport region and beyond complete three months of intensive nightly rehearsals. They are about to once again thrill their appreciative audiences with three performances of highlights from current showstoppers and Broadway classics. Follies is a professional-level production with precision choreography, dazzling costuming, staging and, of course, glorious songs and music…that’s the magic of Follies!

This unique experience began in 2000 launched by the Fairfield Rotary Club. Follies is a rare opportunity for young people from varied neighborhoods, ethnicities, cultures and economic backgrounds to meet each other, make friends and develop mutual understanding and respect.

Thanks to the hard work of many volunteers, the generous support of donors, advertisers and sponsors, the talents and enthusiasm of the student performers and the expertise and dedication of Follies executive producer, creator and director, Marje Tracy, FairfieldFollies has flourished and grown with a new show and cast presented each year. Follies has become an established, anticipated and desirable theatrical happening in our region.
